The clamp stand held the round lamp over my tank without a ceiling fixing. I set it slightly toward the back, about 15 cm above the water.
The aluminium body and gold ring look tidy over the tank. I use the phone app on this 50W version, and the inline switch is there when I want the lamp off quickly.
The stand was in the box, so I did not need a separate ceiling bracket. It clamped to the rim, and the WRGB light made the tetras easy to see.
I slide the clamp when I need to work in the tank. The lamp stays above the water on the stand rather than on a hanging cable.
The lamp arrived with the clamp stand and a lead that has an inline switch. The housing is aluminium with cooling fins.
The stated spectrum is WRGB from 380 to 780 nm, with 95 Ra. I change it from the phone app and still use the inline switch on the lead.
Getting the round lamp up off the glass on the clamp stand keeps the top of the tank clear. The fish colours are easy to see under the WRGB light.
